Organic shea butter and organic coconut milk combine with olive, palm and coconut oils to embrace your skin in a peachy citrus cream aroma. XIAN ZHI (Peaceful Life) Xi’an is one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of Chinese dynasties, renowned for being the eastern end of the Silk Road. Xi’an is also the location of the Terra Cotta Army and has more the 3100 years of history. Xi’an literally means “western peace”.

Zhi (Will, Aspiration, Lifebreath) refers to the origin of being and power in the fundamental drives in the human will or life force which determine one’s course in life.

This Artisan soap is created with the belief in the peaceful course of life. It is made with organic oils, cold processed in high quality organic Chinese green tea with ground green tea added.  The soap is further enhanced with coconut milk, making it incredibly softening and conditioning to the skin. French green clay and White Kaolin clay are added to help clarify the skin. A beautifully made bar that is hand wrapped in eco-friendly paper in it’s own muslin bag for later use. Approximately 5oz.

The Gardenia is one of the more fragrant of the exotic flowers native to the islands and has many uses in ritual and tradition. Our Fiji gardenia soap is especially nourishing to the skin because it contains coconut milk. This soothing addition is also used extensively in the Polynesian islands and Thailand cuisine and skin care. Pencil manufacturing no longer threatens the east African pencil cedar, but it remains endangered by high use in construction and carpentry of the fragrant wood. Expanding agriculture and the clearing of forests has prompted efforts of the Ethiopian Forest  Department to reestablish the tree, after decades of decimation, from grazing and fuelwood harvesting.

This soap supports the conservation efforts of Ethiopia to provide a more abundant source of housing and fuel wood for the population.  The contains cedarwood essential oil and Egyptian musk fragrance. It is enriched with aryuvedic red sandalwood powder, rose clay and honey for therapeutic skin conditioning and mild exfoliation.
